EMERGENCY ClOSING
In the event of an emergency, such as a threatened flood or hurricane, RECP will close if RECOVERY SCHOOL DISTRICT SCHOOL (RSD) close. Listen to WWL & WDSU television or radio for this information. During summer months the Director will make the decision concerning closing, and parents will be notified via e-mail, local TV stations and the School’s website www.recpkids.com . Additionally, Rayne has a "Twitter " account. Please follow "RECP Alerts" for any news about an emergency. The twitter account will only be used for emergencies, not day to day activities. Sudden emergencies arising during the course of a school day already in progress will require your immediate efforts to pick up your child, but under no circumstances should you exercise undue haste or take undue risks in doing so. Rayne will keep your child at our facility unless lawful mandatory evacuation is ordered and notice will be provided.
